Errol Flynn (1909 – 1959)

“I’ve had a hell of a lot of fun and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.”

Actor during the Golden Age of Hollywood, best known for his romantic swashbuckler roles, said this shortly before his death. Errol Flynn died from a heart attack in Vancouver General Hospital, he was aged 50.

Keith Moon (1946 – 1978)

“If you don’t like it, you can fuck off!”

Musician and drummer for rock band The Who, he spoke these last words to girlfriend Annette after she objected to his request to cook a meal. Keith Moon died in his apartment from an accidental overdose of clomethiazole pills, he was 32 years of age.

James Brown (1933 – 2006)

“I’m going away tonight”

Musician and Godfather of Soul spoke these deathbed words to his manager and friend Charles Bobbit before dying from heart failure brought on my pneumonia. James Brown died in hospital at the age of 73 on Christmas Day.

Bing Crosby (1903 – 1977)

“That was a great game of golf, fellas.”

The singer and actor was in Spain to hunt partridge and play golf. After playing 18 holes he suffered a fatal heart attack on the walk back to the clubhouse, he was aged 74.

Brittany Murphy (1977 – 2009)

“As far as having a New Year’s resolution, I’d love to have a child next year.”

The actress and singer spoke these words in an interview 17 days before her death. Brittany Murphy died at the age of 32 after collapsing at her home, the cause of death was given as pneumonia.
