Steve Irwin had been filming an underwater television documentary in the Great Barrier Reef, when he was stung by a stingray several times through the heart, causing him to bleed to death.
“Goodnight, my love… goodnight, goodnight.”
These were the final words of the actor and comedian, spoken to wife Susan the night before he was found dead. Robin Williams had been suffering from depression and hung himself at his home, aged 63 years old.
“Katie, Katie, look, it’ll be fine. I just need to get some sleep.”
The talented Oscar-winning actor spoke these last words to his sister the day before he was found dead – she warned him against taking sleeping tablets on top of the pills he was already taking for pneumonia. Heath Ledger died from an accidental overdose of prescription medication, at the age of 28.

These are the last recorded words of the singer and songwriter, from a phone call to her doctor the day before she was found dead. Amy Winehouse died at her home from an alcohol overdose at the age of 27.

The author of “Fear and loathing in Las Vegas” left these final words in a suicide note to wife Anita. He had been suffering from depression and killed himself with a gunshot to the head, at the age of 67.

The actress and singer spoke these words in an interview 17 days before her death. Brittany Murphy died at the age of 32 after collapsing at her home, the cause of death was given as pneumonia.
